We extended our use of factoring to solving quadratic equations by factoring. The Zero Product Property states that is ab=0, then either a=0 or b=0. We use that property to solve the quadratic equation by taking each factor and setting it equal to zero. Then, solve each equation for the variable. We did p. 270 (1-6). He had to finish 4-6 at home.
