Arianna and I followed a CPalms lesson today requiring her to choose a host city for the Olympic Games. We read about the Olypmpics and were provided three choices to consider. Considerations included climate, population, transportation, etc. We will continue in our next class.

This is the first time I've encountered a very rude, lethargic, and uncooperative Arianna. She was unwilling to participate today, would not engage in conversation and was very much opposed to the entire lesson. I will try again in our next class and hope she is more agreeable. She had no knowledge of the the Olympics or even what an athlete was, so I feel the lesson is a bit more challenging and at a higher level for her, although it is 2nd grade with CPalms.
