This morning we started the new year by reviewing how to add and subtract fractions as we have been learning in chapter five. Much of our focus has been on finding the lowest common denominator before attempting to add or subtract a given fraction. We practiced on problems found on pages 238-239. Homework will be to complete #s 12-19, 24-31 and 36-43 on page 239.
