Henry and I researched the cycas/sago palm and the mango tree. He had a mango seed and a miniature/bonsai sago palm, both of which he took home today. We learned about the difference between the male seed pod cone and the female seed ball. We read about how to care for them and where they grow best. We also learned about cutting the mango "hedgehog" style and "corn on the cob" style. I will bring in a mango next week to practice these methods with Henry.
