I taught Hunter the rules for a power divided by a power. If the bases are the same, we subtract the exponents. If an entire fraction is raised to a power, we can take the numerator to the exponent, over the denominator to the exponent. We worked through examples on the board, then Hunter did worksheets to give him extra practice. He understands the individual concepts, but needs practice with integrating all of them.
