We were busy today! First, I had Hunter do some exponent questions online. He did well on the questions. Then, I had Hunter complete 38 questions that involved simplifying rational exponents. He got 24 of them correct, for a 63%. I will have him do corrections tomorrow. Sometimes Hunter is perfectly fine and able to get the correct answers, and other times he seems to forget the rules he has learned.
I found a Math Review for Plumbing Apprentices. Most of the questions on the review are very basic and Hunter should be capable of completing them. I had him work on the first page of it.
We then took some time to talk about budgets and housing costs, to help give Hunter an idea of what salaries and working hours he needs to think about to support himself in the future.
