Lesson Outline
Henry chose a current event today on the shock of the electric eel. We read about a scientist who measured the shock of a baby eel by placing his hand in the water and letting the eel shock him so he could measure how much current flowed through his arm. He discovered that a baby eel has enough shock to cause involuntary jerk. He concluded that a full grown eel at 5 feet would cause a shock more powerful than a taser. Henry answered comprehension questions about the article after we read it. He also continued working on his boat project. He painted the boat and put the sails on.
