We read about a scientist who measured the shock of a baby eel by placing his hand in the water and letting the eel shock him so he could measure how much current flowed through his arm. He discovered that a baby eel has enough shock to cause involuntary jerk. He concluded that a full grown eel at 5 feet would cause a shock more powerful than a taser.
