Loulie and I made ice cream cones today. Loulie counted the number of scoops of ice cream (pom-poms) to add to each cone so that the numbers matched - addition. She also practiced counting to 10, addition, with Valentine candy hearts. We began using broken heart puzzles to add together numbers to total 10. Later, we joined the Birthday celebration for Ms. Judie today and had red velvet cake!
