Lesson Topic
Multiplying and Dividing Radical Expressions
Lesson Outline
You cannot leave a radical sign in the denominator of a fraction. The radical must be simplified all of the way. If it cannot be simplified, then you must "Rationalize the denominator". You do this by multiplying by a different version of "1". Just write a fraction with the radical of the original denominator over the original denominator. Hunter worked on p. 377 (22-33)
