Lesson Topic
Rational Exponents and Solving Square Root Equations
Lesson Outline
Hunter finished questions on Rational Exponents, p.394 (41-49). He understands them very well!
I then moved to section 7-5, Solving Square Root Equations. I taught Hunter that, in order to solve a square root equation, you must isolate the radical. Then, you square both sides of the equtaion to remove the radical sign. Once the variable is out of the radical, you solve the equation like normal. Hunter did a great job working p. 394 (1-6)
