Charlie and I continued to learn about Greek mythology. He turned in homework, although he did not complete it. We reviewed mythological stories, creation, explanations, and the Olympians. We looked at Mensa Eucation and Research Foundation website and the Greek view of the world. We also looked at a biographical poem, answering prompts, that allowed us to create a story of a mythical hero. I gave Charlie a HOMEWORK assignment that is due next Friday. He is to create a mythological hero and write about him, illustrate him (he already completed that) and list his powers, symbols, and personality traits. I gave him some guidelines and resources to help him. We looked at the Newsela article on mythology together. We looked at myths on History.com and Starfall and learned about Theseus and the maze, wings and Icarus, Pegasus and Midas.
