Elle - 30 minutes - began with an oral review of greetings and salutations; days of the week; months of the year. Questions and answers in French: example: what are the days of the week? Months of the year? When is your birthday? What is the date today? Reviewed numbers - pronunciation only for 1 thru 100. Elle then wrote out the days of the week and months of the year on her whiteboard. She also chose 3 questions and answers to write out. Our next 30 minutes was on the “city” project. Elle is creating a “city” on construction paper. She copied buildings such as: school, church, post office, movie cinema, store, bank, etc. from “images on google”, onto printing paper, cut them out then pasted them onto a large construction paper. Finally she labeled each in French. At this point her project is about 40% complete.
