Lesson Topic
Adding vectors composed of two components
Lesson Outline
I explained how two vectors which are each composed of components can be added together to form a resultant. I showed Vlad that each vector could be resolved into its components and the components with the same direction could be added together. After all components in each direction are combined, They are used to form a single resultant vector whose magnitude and direction can be found using the Pythagorean theorem and the inverse tangent function. I assigned Vlad to do one problem to review this process.
