Today's lesson begins a look at the countries and cultures of East Africa: Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mayotte, Mozambique, Reunion, Seychelles, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. We will spend some more lessons on this region of the world. At the end of class, we looked at famous adopted children from Eastern Africa: Zahara Jolie-Pitt from Somalia and four of Madonna's children who are adopted from Malawi.
