We reviewed Vlad's new A.P. textbook and how it is written and designed to assist students to understand main ideas and themes as they read a new chapter and section. We worked on the first section together today so Vlad could get the feel of the new textbook. He also must begin to highlight as he reads. Vlad shared that he has never really highlighted text before. I explained that with A.P. college level texts, it is a necessity. It is also a great skill to develop in preparation for college.
