Middle School French
Lesson Outline
Elle and I went outside to check the weather. Then using a weather activity which I had created for her, she described the weather in French into a journal notebook. This activity lasted 20 minutes. When we returned, Elle and I played the Bingo game with numbers in French for 15 minutes. We then played scrabble in English for the remainder of our time together. Although we created words in English, I had her tell me whatever words she knew in French. The words she did not know, I told her the French equivalent. She seemed to enjoy increasing her French vocabulary in this fashion. Elle is a very good language arts student. She effortlessly created words from her “letter bank” throughout the entire game.
