We started the session by reviewing the homework and correcting the answers that were wrong. A breakdown of matter was then given. The differences between homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures, compounds and molecules, elements and atoms were explained and related to physical and chemical properties and changes. We then went into atomic theory and covered the periodic table in more depth.
