We finished Chapter 4 in the Chemistry book which deals with atomic theory, the structure of atoms, and the information contained on the periodic table. We reviewed all previous material in preparation for the test: base SI units and prefixes, finding mass, volume, density, temperature with fundamental formulas, scientific notation and significant figures, dimensional analysis and conversion factors, matter and its various states, physical and chemical properties of substances, conservation laws, and more atomic theory. We ended with an assessment to see if he would be ready for a test.

The Physical Science text still has not arrived but the Physical Science syllabus I am following includes the material we covered in the first 4 chapters of the Chemistry book. I wanted to wait until the text arrived before I tested him, but he thinks he would be ready for a test by the end of this week so I will put something together for him.
