We went over Chapter 14 sections 1, 2 and 3 in the new text which just arrived. The material consisted of an in-depth explanation of the kinetic theory of matter, with a deeper look at the familiar states of matter already covered, with an explanation of more exotic states of matter like plasma, superfluids, and Bose-Einstein condensates. Properties of fluids and gases were explained along with some new mathematical relationships and some practice problems and examples were demonstrated. Pressure, volume, and temperature relationships and Charles and Boyle's laws were also covered.
