The plan was to continue guiding Samantha through her study of polynomials by showing her the division of polynomials by binomials. I was going to show her the two methods, the first being modeled on the regular long division in ordinary math and the second being synthetic division. I was also going to show her how these two methods can contribute to factoring polynomials. Since Sam was not present today, I will present this lesson the next time I teach her. There was no assignment.
