This is not an AP physics course. His background in physics and math is very weak, he struggles through every problem. He is unable to do basic physics problems (for an AP course) independently. When I ask him to walk me through it, it seems as if he is just guessing random steps to solve the problem that don't make sense mathematically or conceptually. I also know that there was no AP physics syllabus created for this course, so the AP credit would not be given. He is extremely behind what an AP physics course would contain.
