How do you feel?/Goals/ Vocabulary Quiz
Lesson Outline
Today Sam learned to identify feelings. I printed faces to represent different facial expressions like: Yo estoy…. / Aveces me siento……/ Alegre, Enfadado, Nervioso, Sorprendido, Triste, Aburrido, Contento, Preocupado, Cansado, Distraido, Enamorado, Enfermo, Mareado, Asustado, Avergonzado. Sam read aloud, "How do you feel?" Then Sam took a quiz (vocabulary). We highlighted new words from the Dictionary. Also, we watched a segment of “The Secret” (8 minutes). Then Sam wrote 5 goals in Spanish. (Review / New vocabulary) First I asked Sam to consider what she wants to achieve, and then commit to it. Then we spoke about SMART goals (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound) goals that motivates her and she was able to write them down. (Speaking/Listening/ Writing)
