Lesson Outline
Today, Sam had the opportunity to practice Spanish skills (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking) by listening to the actors (students). (Baylie/Narrator, Marcos/Lion, Yanuell/Jaguar, Bobby/Bear, Vlad/Eagle, Christopher/superhero, Arianna/Bee practiced together and performed live (theatrical performance). Sam is going to help all the “Spanish play cast” during the Talent show. Today, Sam assisted facilitating the rehearsal process, taking notes, and helping the entire Rehearsal production process. Sam shared interesting comments in order to improve acting performance. We discussed “A Great play” is never the result of a single individual's efforts. It always involves the dedicated contributions from a number of people behind the scenes (from the actor on the stage to the person who made the t-shirts /costumes). The assistant director, for one, must be prepared to perform a variety of tasks, in both the artistic and technical realm. Sam is the ideal assistant.
