Current Events: One NASA study asks participants to stay in bed for 60 days, while another compares a space-bound man with his earth-bound twin brother. Get ready for launch from Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral on Sunday night at 6:30pm! A SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket will launch the Arabsat 6A communications satellite, built by Lockheed Martin, from Kennedy Space Center. The satellite will deliver television, internet and mobile phone services to the Middle East, Africa and Europe. Arabsat-6A is part of the two-satellite Arabsat-6G program for Arabsat. Last year, SpaceX launched a Tesla Roadster atop a Falcon Heavy rocket during a test mission, bringing the world breathtaking views of Earth. After this successful test, Arabsat 6A marks the first commercial mission launch of the Falcon Heavy rocket.
