Rowan has had difficulty focusing this week, but we were able to work through two important chapters of the book. The reading is going a little slow (something we'll work on after the break), but Rowan is doing a good job of following the story and the characters.
We finished watching the film Troy, and in the end, I am very pleased with Ashley's effort on the Illiad. She really turned it on the last couple of weeks and I think she got a lot out of it.
We finished watching the film of To Kill a Mockingbird and I was really impressed with Blaize's interest and attention to detail. He noticed the differences between the film and book and made several comments about the portrayal of the characters.
