Today we discussed Current Events, the Patriot Act, and various political situations in the news. We also investigated political parties and some of minor and third parties that have been in place. We watched a third party debate on C-SPAN briefly, then strategized how to create our own political party.

We began our lesson with a review of Current Events and economics. We used the Economist as our source. Next we continued a close read of the Constitution of the United States. We managed to complete the Constitution. We reviewed the structure of the Federal Government.

We continued to work through a comprehensive timeline, discussing and synthesizing events. Next we discussed the format of the exam and some strategies for working through it.

We began reviewing for the exam. We reviewed the period from 1490 through 1890. We used a guided timeline and the review book for sources. I gave my book to Keaton to look over for the next two days.
