Conversation about Ayden's daily life-
We discussed the particulars of caring for pet snakes, focusing primarily on corn snakes (Pantherophis guttatus). We discussed proper diet, terrarium setup, handling, and socialization.
It was so great to see Lena again today. When I told her that we were going to be working on Economics she independently pulled out her Econ journal and was ready. We did some review of what she’s learned in class thus far based on her journal and she was able to answer some comprehension questions when asked with her journal as reference. We then reviewed the vocabulary for Section 5: automobiles and Lena transcribed the definitions into her Journal. She took two 5 minute breaks and returned to work independently.
Since the presentations took place during the time that we had scheduled our cooking class, we started cooking during lunch and finished the recipe during homework time. This decision was taken between Kendra, Emily, and me.
Richard participated in a school-wide activity, celebrating Valentine's Day, playing bingo and decorating cookies. Richard made a triple stack of cookies!
