Richard continued with his MAP reading test and started the language arts test.

Ben did his reading MAP testing.

Kaitlin finished her MAP reading test. We read the first page of 1984 and discussed it.

I substituted for Mr. Andy today. He left work for Joshua to complete on writing an essay. He worked the whole period. We were also able to discuss a problem we ran into during our class today.

Joshua and I stayed on 2.11 Logarithmic Functions so we could get more practice. These problems are quite difficult in that there are many components. Joshua ran into an issue with one of our graphs that we were able to sort out the error with. That was a good learning lesson. Then Joshua practiced graphing new problems on his own. We will move onto properties of logarithms next class.

Christopher continued his MAP testing.

With rubber stamps, Addison practiced words with ild, old, olt, ind, and ost. She read a Black Lagoon book, and we discussed it.

Kellan dictated a story for me to type for him.

Kellan wrote his spelling words in his dictionary. We started reading Who Was Jackie Robinson? We discussed what society was like when he was living.

We discussed Black History month and what Richard might like to do for a presentation. We read about a black chef, Robert W. Lee, and discussed his life.
