Libby was absent today, so I did not work with her.

Chris took his spelling test. We read more from Immigrant Kids and discussed it. He worked on typing the story he is writing.

Jason used puppets and his Lego pieces to do some drama. We went outside to look at the flowers and didn't find caterpillars. We looked at the squirrel box.

We watched the video of How the Grinch Stole Christmas and discussed that it is just like the book by Dr. Seuss.

Chris worked with a peer using a cutting tool with which to etch designs in clay. The two classmates then attached the appendages onto the base of the model using cutting tools and precise etching techniques. The two worked well together and compromised effectively if their ideas diverged.

Ben and I discussed how the government behaved in the early days and why the articles of confederation struggled. We also discussed how Washington was only president of the United States to lead men in battle as president.

Lucas and I worked on dribble drills. Bounce squares and footwork. We also worked on our mid range jumpers and prepped for his game.

Ben and I learned about what caused the revolution and how Washington became the first president after the failed articles of confederation.
