Sophie had some questions about the 5.3 lesson from last week. I answered some of her questions and then she lost internet connection. I asked her, through email, to read over her notes and the examples in the book to try the problems again. (She had noted earlier in the lesson that she didn't actually look at her notes when attempting the homework).

Sophie is doing well. She had a little trouble with the 5.2 assignment on Wednesday so I retaught and she seemed to understand.

We had a lot of internet issues today, beginning 15 minutes into the session. Sophie worked on the assignment during class time once we were unable to Skype.

Class went well today. The internet connection was great.

Sophie is doing well. She makes arithmetic errors but understands the overall concepts. She needs to be more careful when doing the basic arithmetic.

Sophie is on a field trip but will receive credit for today's class. She has a take home test on matrices that needs to be completed before she returns to class on Jan. 18th (next week she will be out on break - JBP classes will be cancelled).

Sophie is on a field trip with her photography class in England.

Sophie completed her homework assignment. She will be out on Wednesday and Thursday for a field trip. She has the chapter 4 test to be completed as a take home test.
