We worked on learning the value of coins. We figured out how many pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters make up one dollar or 100 cents. Then we figured out what type of coins were needed for different amounts of change. We used plastic coins to show change that we calculated to aid in becoming more familiar with coin denominations.
We reviewed addition and subtraction facts and equations. Then we reviewed place value and comparing two-digit numbers. Jackson did well on all math topics covered today.
