Cam was late to class, I had to go to the art room to find him. He had no desire to review probability, he said he was good to take the test but he had to leave early, so there was not enough time to do the test today.
Student did not pick up the call. I called every 3 minutes. I chatted with her and asked her to continue working on her worksheet for quadratic equations.
We had a review session on probability. We did examples of each type of problem that will be on the test tomorrow. David seems to be well prepared for the test.

Cam did a good job today. It was the best session we have had in the past few weeks.
Kaitlin worked online this afternoon. She explored quadratic graphs and worked on practicing quadratic functions in vertex form. She also worked on the packet in her folder.

I subbed online with Kaitlin for Teresa this afternoon, Thursday, 3/56/25, period 5 - from 12:36 - 1:21. She did comment that she was upset that she learned from another teacher that she no longer had me in the morning. She stated that both her and her mother and her mother were surprised they had not been told of any changes in her schedule. I suggested she talk to Nicole and/or the scheduler.
We will do expected value problems involving games, business decisions, and life insurance. Expected values are a part of decision theory. We will use a table to set up the information and the do the arithmetic to find the expected value.

It was a great session. David knows how to find expected values and what they mean.
We will do more problems involving a two-way table including a question from the Sat test book. We will also do expected value problems involving games of chance.
