As a substitute teacher today for David's Algebra 1 class, the sub plans provided allowed David the option to work on his Art project. However, the Art room was at capacity with other students so David worked on other
assignments for this class period.
10-3 Analyzing Functions Graphically – We learned to relate the domain and range of a function to its graph. Then we analyzed the key features of the graph of a function to identify the type of function it represents. We explored the use of the key features of the graphs of functions. We used the domain, range, maximum and minimum values, axis of symmetry, and end behavior to identify and compare functions.
Assignment: Complete the assigned problems for homework.
10-2 The Cube Root Function – We learned to identify key features of the graph of cube root functions and graph translations of them. The general form of the cube root function is f(x) = cube root of x.
Assignment: Complete the assigned problems for homework.
