8-3 Quadratic Functions in Standard Form – We learned to compare properties of quadratic functions. We found the x coordinate by using the formula –b/2a. Next we plugged the x value into the equation to find the y value. Then we applied these principles to real-world problems.

We completed the Mid-Chapter Review problems assigned for homework.

9-4 Graphing Linear Relations – We practiced graphing linear relations on a Cartesian coordinate system by finding the x and y pairs that satisfy the equation. We completed the assigned homework.

9-3 Equations as Relations – We reviewed solving equations for one variable and finding the set of ordered pairs. Then we substituted each value of the domain for x and solved for the corresponding y-value. Next we put values in set notation.

9-3 Equations as Relations – We learned to solve linear equations for specific variables and for a given domain. Then we learned to use the definition of the solution of an equation in 2 variables. We completed the assigned homework.
