Colson finished answering comprehension question pertaining to the article he read on the Boston Tea Party. He then began putting together a PowerPoint presentation for the Boston Tea Party.
Colson read and discussed the graphic novel, "Sugar Falls." He read an article about the Boston Tea Party, then watched and discussed a video about the Boston Tea Party. Tomorrow he will begin to write a speech about the importance of the Boston Tea Party.
Colson researched and wrote about the life of Malala Yousafzai. He explored the events that caused her to become an activist, how she survived being shot by the Taliban, and why she continues to fight for children's rights for peace and the opportunity to attend school.
Colson read, discussed and analyzed the poem, "Old Glory." He practiced reading it. He will give a reading of this poem next Friday.
He practiced memorizing the first two lines of the Gettysburg address.
