We had a great discussion of the value of learning statistics and doing the statistical process correctly. We applied statiistics to golf in the sense of using statistics to earn better results. Statistical procedures play an important role in decisions that are made for the advancement of our society. Matthew has a firm grasp on the process and application of statistics.

We reviewed hypothesis tests and the power of a test. We also looked at some practice problems and videos of strategies and tips for success.

Matthew is preparing for the AP test coming up within two weeks.

We looked at the required concepts for the AP test to be sure Matthew has a good understanding of them. We did example problems from the AP website and identified an area that needed more explanation. Matthew is going to continue working on practice problems before his next time in class.
