Lesson Outline
Each student will lead the class with 20 counts of each of 4 exercises. Lead with basic punches, stances and kicks. With lines on the floor to get the concept of having a rectangular base. If we have time to wrestle with the boys.

Made valentines- I couldn't believe what a hit this was with all of them - they were even eager about writing the words inside the cards-spent most of the morning making them and asking, "Can I do another one?" Lots of fun and very messy. Read them the first part of the book 'The Perfect Valentine'. Gwen - SRA word list, dragon board game with new words. Quinn/Anna sentence strips and sentence worksheet. Everyone was back to school today but not feeling great. Calendar 100 chart. Counting groups of five and tens. Added groups of five and ten together. Used base ten concept blocks. Quinn and Gwendolyn practiced printing 2 and 3 properly on lined paper. Stephen and Anna tactile cards for two - traced 2's on board. Gwendolyn- read two Wright Books - read last three word lists for SRA Level A. Introduced her to SRA level B books. Anna, Stephen, Quinn - -letter Ss worksheet,
Anna-Wright Book -difficult. Quinn - read sentence strips. Everyone was exhausted by the ends of the day - Anna fell asleep in tent - everyone else looked at books or stories on iPads.
