It took a while for Oliver to settle down, but he managed to respond by the end of class.
Calendar, Sang Easter and Passover songs. Solved riddles to find the stuffed bunnies the Easter bunny left. Watched online Lego story of Passover. Decorated Elijah Goblets and had a snack of chocolate-covered Matzo and macaroons and grape juice. Solved alphabet puzzles to discover where Easter Bunny had hidden several toys and played with them. Learned how to do the 'Bunny Hop' and danced around the floor-maze to reach bunny bubbles for our baskets. Discovered pinwheels the bunny hid and took them outside to determine the wind direction. Had an egg hunt on the playground.
Calendar, Passover 'Seder Plate Song' , made Seder plates. Observed raw and boiled eggs - how can you tell which is boiled? Spin them - what happens? Why? Counted how many eggs in a dozen, half-dozen, Played store and bought cookies, eggs, etc. by dozen and half-dozen. Dyed eggs: German block eggs, British Pace eggs, Polish pysanky, Austrian leaf, good old American, and Greek Red eggs and played the Greek egg cracking game. Made see-through posters with egg shape on one side and drew animals that hatch from eggs on the back of the page so when you hold it up to the light , you can see what animals are inside. Revision of Block Routine 1 and Warmup. Gwen and Ana will learn Block Routine 2. Other Students must improve their basics and stances. More repetition required. 30 second Fitness drills done.

Oliver took a little time to settle down, and needed to be reminded the importance of being a good listener. Everyone was enthusiastic to learn.
Calendar, Easter Songs, Passover Book, Introduced printing on primary paper instead of large printing strips. Everyone did well with numbers 1 and 2 and their first initial. (Stephen is still struggling to overcome his habit of gripping pencil with all four fingers, but he is trying). 25 piece puzzles. Reviewed ovals and all shapes -made shape pictures - Quinn/Anna - beginning, middle, and end of a story- illustrated and dictated a 3-part story. Stephen/Oliver blending two sounds. Discussed types of eggs - difference of amphibian, insect and fish eggs. Sorted animal eggs into groups -birds,Reptiles, fish, amphibians, insects
