Begin project called "Reality Lab" Explain that this involves practical math and decision-making in the real world. 1) Get a job (with only a high school education - no special training) and pay is based on 40 hours per week - calculate take home pay after taxes (use 0.85 for withholding tax) This is the amount of money left to spend each month
2) Find an apartment (1, 2, or 3 bedroom)amount of rent plus costs for electricity, house phone, cable tv, and internet

2) Review for final exam: "Snowing in Greenwich Village" and Vocabulary
Georgia will be able to: 1) Identify the degree of a polynomial; 2) Name a polynomial by its degree and its number of terms; 3) Add and subtract polynomials.
Learn to compute sales tax and to read sales tax table and find total costs.
Learn to give change to a customer using the fewest coins and bills (use the count down method)
