Lesson Comments
Charlotte is already knowledgeable about writing 5 paragraph essays. She is very inquisitive and doesn't hesitate to ask questions, especially if she thinks she already knows the answer. She is very easy to work with and was able to focus on the lesson at hand. We moved more quickly than I had intended to because of her previous knowledge of the subject and her ability to follow along. She was not enthusiastic about being assigned homework, but she agreed that she would finish it before our next class session.

Charlotte was also very curious about how this 2-week course would work. She explained her situation with me, and I let her know that we would focus on catching her up so that she could transfer into her new school with ease. We will continue to work on academic writing this week, adding in some literature analysis on Friday and next week.

I think Charlotte will do well because she is very motivated to be able to switch into her new school.
