Lesson Comments
I am happy to report that we achieved the objectives for the field trip. Vladimir liked Embry-Riddle Aerospace school and was exposed to real exchange with teachers, instructors and students. We were lucky to meet with school Golf Team leader at his office. Vlad is motivated to include this school on his planned applications. Possibility for a golf based scholarship is real and achievable.
He also greatly enjoyed visit to Kennedy Space Center.
In preparation to the Field Trip to Embry Riddle/ Kennedy Space Center:
- Field Trip coordination...
- Seeing Beyond - The James Webb Space Telescope...
- Why is the James Webb Space Telescope delayed...
- The Absurdity of Detecting Gravitational Waves- The LIGO project
and its implications...
Definition of scope and deadlines on the Final Project - Program...
Definition of plans for the Field Trip...
Practice exercises on:
Specific Heat,
Heat of Fusion, and
Heat of Vaporization...
Assignment
We set dates for April 18 and May 16 for partial and final submission of Final Project
