Blaize was prepared for class and continued our good discussion about Holden Caulfield. We're focusing on Holden's loneliness and isolation, and how his immaturity shows by the way he deals with himself and other people. Blaize has been an active participant in our discussions and I'm very pleased with his effort.

I'm very pleased with Blaize's effort with the reading so far. He hasn't had one day where he hasn't read for this book and he seems to be very interested in Holden's character. We talked about how this book is all based on Holden's perceptions, and therefor needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Blaize has been very active in our discussions and I think he's getting a lot out of the book.
