We continued our discussion about the date with Sally Hayes and Holden's continued breakdown. We then had a great discussion when I asked Blaize to describe Holden, which led to asking him to describe himself. It ended up being a very interesting about character analysis and literature in general.

Blaize really shocked me today and came in having read a total of 5 chapters, eventhough he was only assigned two. Not only did he read them, but he's starting to develop very strong opinions about the character of Holden and the direction of the story. We had a great discussion about Holden's isolotation and his view of himself and others.
Blaize got a 88/100 on his Chapter 10 test, so we began the next chapter. He has the opportunity to get points back on his test if he does the problems he got wrong again.
