Review of geometry in engineering as part of his interests in the field.

I will give Ben the notes and his work that we did this year. We briefly went through the notes as a quick review of what we accomplished.

10-6 Secants, Tangents, and Angle Measures – We constructed tangent lines from points outside of a circle. We learned to use the Segments of Chords Theorem to find the lengths of chords in circles. We used the quadratic function when the equations could not be factored.

Geometry Tutoring: Conditional Statements for Proofs: Explanation and demonstration examples of numerous
conditional statements such as Converse, Contrapositive, and Inverse.

We will do a correlation and regression problem.

Review and Practice for the AP HG Exam: Beginning tutoring session for the student's Geometry FLVS online course. Various problems discussed regarding compass construction of various regular polygons. Method of determining/identifying various types of angles in a parallel lines w/transverse
diagrams.

We will solve application problems involving the fundamental counting principle, combinations, and permutations. We will do a variety of problems so that the correct method must be chosen.

We defined terms related to theoretical probobability. These included: event, outcome, sample space, and probability distribution. We did a variety of problems as examples.

The three types of probability: theoretical, subjective, and empirical. We will do examples of each type. We will discuss randomness in probability theory. We will discuss the law of large numbers and the use of empirical probability in quality control.
