10-4 and 10-5
Lesson Outline
Today Maya practiced her 1-4x tables. She did very well and only a few of them were tricky for her. Overall, she is doing a phenomenal job with her multiplication tables! Maya reviewed yesterday's lesson and learned in 10-4 that lines create angles. She was introduced to the three types of angles- right, acute, and obtuse. She learned a song to serve as additional reinforcement. She was briefly introduced to the next lesson which includes skills such as being able to identify a polygon. She learned that a polygon is a closed figure with straight lines. She did a super job today.

Lesson Outline
Maya took her 11X quiz and was very successful. She scored a 100 in under 2 minutes. She and I were both proud, and knew she deserved it. She has worked very hard to learn her facts. After, Maya learned to identify shapes related to given solids. She learned that shapes can be sued to describe some atttributes of some solids. She used vocabulary terms: face, edge vertex, and vertices to describe 3-d shapes. Maya was able to independently solve practice problems. Afterwards, she participated in lots of fun activities for Valentine's Day and Ms. Judie's birthday. It was a great day, with lots of great friendships that continue to grow at Juno Beach Prep. Maya had beautiful compliments to give to Judie and it was a very sweet day. Happy Valentine's Day to your family.
