yoga practice: mat poses and stretches and balancing

Lesson Outline

i had planned to discuss vocab words but Ashley had not completed assignment. She was very sore from a yoga class she took at a local yoga studio, so she requested stretches to alleviate soreness. We focused on leg, back and shoulder stretches. New balancing poses included palm tree and front 1/2 moon.

I am pleased that Ashley is now very interested in yoga and took her first yoga class in the community. She felt "well-prepared" for the class after having learned many poses in our class. Ashley did forget to do her vocab words and will bring the assignment in tomorrow.
