Getting her to write again this semester has been very difficult. She finished a very well written essay. We just need a few more minutes to finish proofing.

Lawrence's depiction of women. Puts them on a pedestal. Is it realistic? What does he think of me? What seems to be his view of high society? discuss introduction of Mellors. Foreshadowing. Repetition of theme/ motif of "danger" and "threat." Idea of humans' connection to the land: both as they perceive it (the aristocracy think they "belong" to certain land or the land belongs to them; the lower classes live off of and "of" the land).
