Lesson Comments
Mary cannot read at home. She reads quickly, attentively, and in depth while in class. I don't have a real issue with her reading in class. Her depth is evident by her memory for precise detail and underlying meanign when I ask questions.

Lesson Topic
Finding trigonometric functions on the unit circle
Lesson Outline
Mary will be able to find sine, cosine, tangent, cosecant, secant and cotangent on the unit circle.

1. Be able to find the point on the unit circle that corresponds to the degree given in radical form. For example, the point that corresponds to pi/4 is (sqrt2/2, sqrt2/2).

2. Be able to find sine, cosine, tangent, cosecant, secant and cotangent of the point on the unit circle using: sin t=y, cos t=x, tan t= y/x, csc t = 1/y, sec t = 1/x and cot t = x/y.

Mary will complete problems in section 4.2 to practice and show that she understands this concept.
Assignment
continue working on problems in section 4-2, through #28

Lesson Comments
Mary is working hard to "catch up" in her precalculus course. She is doing very well so far in this chapter and felt that she would be able to continue working on problems at home on her own.
