Marcos completed his Compound event homework, and we went over the problems that needed to be corrected. Counting even just one item wrong can result in getting many questions incorrect!
He did an activity lab on the Law of Large Numbers that involved coin flipping. He made a chart of how many tosses were heads versus tails when tossed for 10 trials. Each trial had ten tosses. Marcos became a coin tossing machine!! He was surprised to have heads so many times in a row, but when he counted all of the tosses up, he began to see that the results did begin to even out as the number of tosses increased.
