Quinn- Read story in reading book and used inference skills to answer questions. Sorted words to form sentences.
Anna- Read a story in reading book and wrote her reaction to the story. Used the correct verb form with plural nouns.
Quinn- Finished testing out of book one. He is in book two! Yippee!! Introduced welded sounds.

Lesson Comments
Both Anna and Quinn did very well in class. Anna needs to repeat the song from last week to work on counting, tempo, and rhythm. Quinn needs to work on these things as well - strumming in rhythm with a steady tempo. Their behavior was good and they listened very well.
They each got their new spelling words for the week.
Quinn- worked on testing out of step one. We will finish tomorrow. He is doing great!
Anna- Read a story and sequenced the events. She had a difficult time with coming up with sentences for this activity.
We only had about 40 minutes today since the kids arrived late from a doctor's appointment.We made family dolls and labeled them, and talked some more about members of the family.
